******Right folks it's this time of year again, we are having our
Christmas night out this Friday 12th December in the
Scholars around 7ish***********

Also thanks to all those who took part in our Greek Week events . We were
kindly sponsored by commNent and Pc world for our retro gaming prizes. We
had guest speakers such as Mikael Fermstrom, Mel Gorman , Padraigh Brady,
John Sturdy and Pamerla O'Shea. We hope to have another night next
semester with such speakers.

Also within the SU there is a competition going on "Want to design a LOGO
for the Clubs and Societies here in UL contact Dave Corley
0033995 at student.ul.ie . Files can be sent in any format. No specific
theme, but promote UL and C&S (body and mind) closing date 16th February
2004" Why not take part in it !!

We ran workshops this semester in the Fish tank that went very well, we
will be running them next semester. Monday nights from 6-9 will be our
admin training so anyone who is interested in learning how the servers
work, or wants to learn how to break and fix them, come along. On Tuesdays
we will have some C++ classes Java, or whatever you want taught, so if you
are having some trouble gives a shout and I will organise the workshops.

Also we may head to Dublin to visit Redbrick and Minds on the 20th
December, if we  have concrete numbers again mail cipher at skynet.ie  to
confirm.
