 Hey everyone,

 I'm happy to announce NUIG Compsoc are running an Intersocs event next
 Friday March 12th. We have a couple of speakers lined up for the
 evening:

  - Dr. Stefan Decker - Semantic Web Research - Cluster Leader
    Digital Enterprise Research Institute, Galway - www.deri.ie

  - Kevin Lyda - ILUG / Doolin Technologies Ltd - Topic TBC

  - Kenn Humborg - ILUG / Blue Tree Systems - Linux/VAX porting project

   - Ciaran O'Riordan - Chairman IFSO - The Free Software Dossier

 The evening's events are planned for the back of the College Bar from
 7.30pm. The College Bar is located in Aras na MacLeinn which is a 3
 minute walk from the main University entrance. This is marked as
 building no. 28 on the campus map:

 We will be proceeding onto Cuba* nightclub where The Lewd Tunes will be
 playing in Cuba*Live. This local female fronted act have a wicked brass
 section playing everything from Primal Scream to The Doors. Downstairs
 in ClubCuba* will cater for those of you who like your dance/r&b music!

 I have listed the best Galway hostels at the bottom of this email.
 If needs be we have a few spare sleeping bags, and we have a new server
 room floor to sleep test - don't worry about heating ;)
