[CompSoc-News] server room move completed

Hi,
	This is just a brief overview of the weekends activities, for those of 
ye that wonder what we were getting up to ,-)
	The room move went ahead as scheduled on saturday, starting at 4, went 
on till 2am, with a badly needed break for dinner around 9. All the 
active service machine have been moved and re-setup (mother, father, 
skynet, orac, hal, holly, intelligence). Also moved were the ups and 
rack (which involved a fair bit of dismantling and manhandling), r2d2, 
queeg, the 2 tables and the set of bookshelves.
	The people involved were myself, our flamboyant president sith, and a 
friend of ours, Christian (to whom we owe much gratitude for his 
wizardry with cables and all things electrical). Also, thanks to cypher 
for doing all the organisiation for getting the move... moving.
	The new room came with 2 new desks, lots of power outlets, and oodles 
of room. All the equipment fits very comfortably. The only niggle is 
there was a screwup in the power for the new ups, but that should be 
corrected by thursday. This may mean downtime for about half an hour 
(rough guess), i'll let ye know as soon as i do.
