[CompSoc-News] Mini-Con - February '09

Hey all,

We've been planning talks for next semester and decided to roll our
talks together into a mini weekend conference.

At the moment our keynote speaker is Randell Munroe (of xkcd fame) and
we're also planning on hosting a debate with the Debating Union.

Dates are to be confirmed, but were thinking of the first or second
weekend in February (7th & 8th or 14th & 15th).

We're looking for people to help out with the organising. If you're
interested in helping out just drop the committee a mail (
compsoc at skynet.ie ). It'll be good experience in organising an event.

We'll mail you with more infos as they become available.
