[CompSoc-News] OSSbarcamp 19th September 2009

Laura Czajkowski is running another Barcamp this Autumn on the 19th of
September 2009 at DIT Kevin Street.

Ossbarcamp is a themed barcamp targeted towards Open Source Software, as
there are few specific events in Ireland like this which are open to
everyone, free and on a weekend so everyone can attend. It’s also about
showing off the really interesting projects that are out that use open
source that you may not have heard about.

For those not familiar with a barcamp, it’s an informal form of a
conference, no need to submit papers, we encourage lots of interaction
during the talks through Q&A, talks are shorter.
