[Dance] FUNDRAISING

[UL Dance]

Hey everyone,
Niamh again Just sending this email which is much of the same as what I have
told you in the previous one just with a few adjustments and more detail of
how all you wonderful members are going to help !!

<3 I will start with the  danceathon !! This is a fundraiser which involves
dancing for 12 hours straight! It will work in shifts so dont worry you wont
have to dance the full 12 hours ! Would be cool if you could hang around
though and help with fundraising and just keep an atmosphere going.

- It is important if you wish to take part that you fill in the sponsorship
card with as much sponsors as you can. Tell your sponsors what your going to
be doing and that it is for the club and how much work this involves. I will
email you the sponsorship card along with this email.

- If your taking part we want everyone to know that you are involved so you
must wear red and white!! We will be dancing in the courtyard, around campus
and  taking it to the lodge so we want the people involved to be easily
spotted and noticed. So RED and WHITE !!

- It starts at 2pm on the 9th of april and will till from 2am! We really
hope that you all get involved! Also because we are a relatively new club we
want to get the club established and we want this to be a club effort so
even if just for an hour come and have a dance !!

<3 As you know from the previous email we are planning a show for the end of
the year which is in aid of Haiti. There are going to be a number of pieces
in the show including all the intervarsitiy dances and a hip hop piece which
will hopefull have all you hip hop goers in and and a jazz piece which will
be thought at the jazz workshop.
Rehearsals for this include:
- hip hop rehearsals : 6th, 12th, 14th April 7-9pm

- Jazz workshop: 7th April from 7-9pm

We encourage as many people to take part in this as possible it is for a
very good cause and will give people a chance to see all the work and talent
in the dance club! There will be a special piece dedicated to Haiti at the
end of the show which will be rehearsed on the and anyone who is interested
in being in this piece please come to this important rehearsal on the 14th
April 8.30-10pm

<3 With regards Dance hoodies the response for them wasnt a lot so in order
to get them in time for those who did order we have to go and order them for
those who have filled in the form and payed so they get their hoodies in
time for the end of college semester. There were many oppertunities to order
these at classes. There will be other oppertunities next semester.

PS just change the date on sponsor card to 9th instead of 19th was a
misprint!
