[Events] In appreciation of wren boys fundraiser?

Many thanks to everybody in Cruinniu who played music with the Wrenboys  last week and to all staff and students who made a financial contribution.   Of the € 800 collected,  €400 goes to Limerick Down Syndrome Association and  €400 is now winging its way to a small town in the south of Zambia ( Choma). This money will be used to help finish off a new school that Clonlara ICA has been funding for the past three years. The school caters for over 300 pupils in a very poor area and unusually the school was actually built by the community who made each and every brick and there is a huge pride and a sense of ownership among the community of their new facility. Your contributions will help ensure that the school is finished before the rains come.
