Adrian Guelke (QUB) 

'Ethnic conflict and global watersheds'

Adrian Guelke is Professor of Comparative Politics at QUB. His research
interests are principally on the politics of deeply divided societies,
most particularly the cases of South Africa and Northern Ireland. He is
currently chair of the International Political Science Association's
research committee on politics and ethnicity. Recent publications
include The New Age of Terrorism and the International Political System
(IB Tauris, 2009), Terrorism and Global Disorder: Political Violence in
the Contemporary World (IBTauris, 2006), (Co-editor) A Farewell to
Arms?: Beyond the Good Friday Agreement (Manchester University Press,
2006), Rethinking the Rise and Fall of Apartheid: South Africa and World
Politics (Palgrave Macmillan, 2005), Editor, Democracy and Ethnic
Conflict: Advancing Peace in Deeply Divided Societies (Palgrave
Macmillan, 2004).
