Mediation Skills

 

(Course Code: EC1-1209)

 

The IPI offers this two-day workshop as part of its educational aim to positively impact on the enhancement of universal conflict transformation skills. Participants will develop a basic understanding of mediation and be introduced to foundational skills and strategies. Our experienced trainer will utilise an action learning methodology and encourage participants to develop knowledge and competency of basic mediation skills.  Topics covered include;

*	Introduction to the concept of mediation 
*	Understanding of the process of mediation with an overview of the tasks involved in each step 
*	Knowledge of the principles that inform the process of mediation 
*	Basic skills used in mediation
*	Insight into one’s own approach to conflict 

 

 

Date: Dec 15th & 16th, 2009 (Time: 9.30am – 4.30pm; 12 hours of tuition)

Location: University of Limerick

Course Costs: €250, (Student: €150) 

Price includes lunch for 2 days and Course materials
