[Events] Reminder & Room change: UL Staff Sailing Club Introductory Talks

Hi All,

The UL staff sailing club is about to start up for the 2010 sailing  
season and we are inviting all staff and research postgraduate  
students to our Introductory talk. The talk is open to anyone  
interested in getting involved in sailing from beginners to experience  
sailors.

Membership of the UL sailing club holds a numerous benefits;
- Sailing every Tuesday evening from April to September
- Access to the fleet of RS sailing dinghies available in UL Activity  
Centre (ULAC, http://www.ulac.ie/)
- Access to the excellent facilitates at ULAC including wetsuits,  
safety gear, etc. (everything you require to start sailing)
- 50% discount on ULSSC sailing courses organised by ULAC from  
beginner level to expert level
- Relaxed, safe and social environment to start sailing

If you are interested, we would like to invite you to come along to  
our introductory talks. We will be having two introductory talks; the  
first will take place in CG-053 (opposite the Library entrance) on  
Thursday the 8th of April from 1-2 p.m, the second will take place on  
Thursday the 8th of April from 6-7 p.m in A112. There will be a short  
presentation on what we do and the events we hold during the year, it  
should take no more than 30 mins. At the meeting you can sign up for  
one of our sailing open days that will introduce you to sailing.

For those of you who are already experienced sailors, don't forget the  
Spring Challenge Open Dinghy Competition on the 24th and 25th of April
