[Events] Final Year Project Exhibition - B. Tech. Ed.

Dear Colleagues,

The Materials & Construction Technology (LM094) and Materials &
Engineering Technology (LM095) Final Year Project public presentation
day is taking place at the University of Limerick (EG010) on Friday the
9th of April 2010.

This year we have an opportunity to celebrate the alignment of the two
practical Teacher Education Programmes within the Manufacturing and
Operations Engineering Department. This for the first time in UL brings
Materials & Construction Technology and Materials & Engineering
Technology students and faculty together with a singular vision for the
progression of technical education. 

The 117 projects on display will range from the mastery of crafts to
developing pedagogical strategy, all with an overarching emphasis on
contributing to the professional development of Technology Teachers. The
exhibition highlights the strategic role that UL plays in defining the
future of technological education at a national level.

The events welcomes representatives form the State Examination
Commission, the Technology Subject Support Service, and the Teacher
Associations. The event promises to be a memorable display of a diverse
range of projects, which highlight the qualities of the Technology
Teacher Education Students. 

The event times are as follows:

Venue:  EGO10

Friday, 9th April.

10:00 to 11:00              Project viewing

11:00 to 11:30              Official opening

11:30 to 3:00                Project viewing

3:00 to 3:30                  Project Awards

All are welcome to addend.
