Energy & Excellence at Cycle-Mania

 

€3,000 raised for Milford Hospice

 

 

This is to thank everyone who took part in Cycle-Mania on Wednesday 31 March at the University Arena.

 

This was a Five Hour Indoor Cycling challenge held in the Arena Reception, initiated by a group of Masters Marketing Students, as part of the 

BDO Get Back Challenge, and dynamically presented by our resident Group Fitness Team.  

 

Participants pedalled away on LeMond Indoor Cycles for periods of half an hour up to five hours, as our Fitness Instructors led

 a variety of themed slots in different cycling styles and paces

 

Our cycling event was first of its kind at the Arena and was met by enthusiasm from beginners and experienced fitness enthusiasts alike.   

 

Where else would you see beginners cycling comfortably alongside ‘Iron-men’ athletes in fun filled fitness fundraising?
