Venue: PG-043 Biomechanics Research Lab, PESS Building

Did you watch the US Masters Golf and wonder how your own shot distances, accuracy, ball spin and speeds compare to the pro statistics on the television screen? Then why not come along to our new golf research facility and test your swing. We will showcase a new underfoot pressure system donated by Padraig Harrington as well as our full indoor driving bay, launch monitor and high-speed cameras.

 

Charity competition

Bring your own driver and for €2 enter the drive competition. The most consistent player over 10 drives for ball speed, trajectory and sidespin component will win a box of 12 Titleist ProV1 golf balls. All entry money will be donated to Milford Care Centre. A driver will be available for those who do not have their own and you can wear flat or spiked shoes. You do not need to be a competitive golfer but for safety all we ask is that you have played some golf before. All friends and family welcome.
