A knowledge of computers is an advantage but not essential 

This step by step introduction will teach you the basics of digital photography (using the software package Adobe Photoshop Elements 2).

Learn how to: 
* choose a camera suitable to your needs
* compose your photographs
* store, edit, print and email your photographs 
* understand the jargon from pixels to jpegs to cropping and cloning 
* understand simple ways to improve your images 

At the end of this course you will be able to: 

* master digital tricks and techniques 
* know how to repair and restore old photographs 
* create montages
