ATTENTION ALL STAFF AND STUDENTS 

AS PART OF UL’S FIRST SEVEN WEEKS PROJECT WE ARE DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE THE FOLLOWING VIDEO COMPETITION : 

ALL EXISTING UL STAFF AND STUDENTS ARE ELIGIBLE TO ENTER

 

WHAT DO WE WANT YOU TO DO?

 

Create a 5 minute video of the UL campus OR take a series of 7 photographs.  

 

Entries can be from individuals or teams.

                                    

 

WHAT SHOULD THE VIDEO/PHOTOS BE ABOUT?

 

The audience for your video will be new students arriving in UL in September 2010.

 

We want the general title of your video entry to be 

 

“THE SEVEN THINGS I LIKE ABOUT UL”

 

WHAT ARE THE ENTRY CRITERIA?

 

1.	You should present UL in a welcoming, positive light.
2.	You should include something about good and productive study and learning habits.
3.	You should produce a video that will help to inform new students about what UL is like and equip them with insights that will help them to adjust to university life.

 

 

Other than those three broad criteria, you should feel free to be as creative as possible.

 

Please submit your entries on disc or via email to Karen McGrath by July 30th 2010

 

The winning entry will be posted on the UL first seven weeks website by the beginning of the new autumn term.

 

A prize of €500 will be presented to the winner.
