He is currently co-editing the diary of William Godwin (1756-1836) on a
three-year project funded by the Leverhulme Trust (see:
http://godwindiary.politics.ox.ac.uk/). His research interests include Godwin
and his circle, Jacobin literature and the theatre of the 1790s. He is the
editor of <i><span style='font-style:italic'>The Plays of William Godwin</span></i>
(Pickering & Chatto, forthcoming 2010) and author of <i><span
style='font-style:italic'>William Godwin and the Theatre </span></i>(Pickering
