Berlin Wall, an event which historically signifies the end of the “Cold
War” as well as a new beginning for <st1:country-region w:st="on">Germany</st1:country-region>
and the rest of <st1:place w:st="on">Europe</st1:place>. The interdisciplinary
colloquium on Saturday, 14 November, in <st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Mary</st1:PlaceName>
<st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Immaculate</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">College</st1:PlaceType>
will discuss the profound changes precipitated by the fall of the Wall as well
as memories of divided <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">Germany</st1:country-region></st1:place>
and other former Eastern Bloc countries. </span></font><span lang=EN-US>It is
hoped that the colloquium will bring together postgraduate students from <st1:country-region
